Kert's home has been returned to after several years. It was found to be in the same shape it was when he left Rhydin. One of many homes remaining untouched by the wars that ravaged the land. The security system was designed by himself, members of DEVGRU, and Kain DeVolente, an independent security contractor which has designed security systems for many government security and intelligence agencies around the world.

The home is a four-bedroom, five bathroom estate, backed up to the water, and setting on twelve acres of land. Twelve foot steel reinforced concrete walls, each eighteen inches thick, topped with concertina wire, and foot thick steel gate are one of many security measures. Overwatch towers rest on opposing ends of the property, creating a 360 degree field of view for the snipers, as well as triangulation of fire from any point on the property. Another sniper patrols the rooftop of the Estate. Bulletproofed glass makes up all of the windows, and all exterior doors, hinges and locks have been hardened.

The garage is actually comprised of an underground bunker, which is connected to another series of bunkers, housing food and water stores, ammunition stores, emergency power generators, a practice range with twenty five and fifty meter ranges, and a cache of collected weapons.

In the event of an all out offensive on the property, steel plates would roll into place over the windows, each being three inches in thickness, and the doors would be internally barred. The garage entrance would have a twelve inch steel plate roll down to cover it.

The pier on the rear of the house is constructed of reinforced concrete, and has cleats for large vessels (up to a Cyclone Class Patrol Craft). The boathouse at the end of the pier is home to a twenty-seven foot "Raider Boat." Said vessel is outfitted with with a fore M2HB Heavy Machine Gun, and two aft M240G Medium Machine Guns. The craft is also outfitted with VHF radio, GPS, depth finder, and propelled by two Evinrude 400 engines.

The entire complex is protected by members of a Force Protection service under his employment.
